After a meeting today, Corinthians have raised the asking price for star midfielder André, and now AC Milan are considering their next steps.

The André saga already seems to have descended into somewhat of a farce. Milan had essentially agreed a deal, and all the documents required to be sent, appear to have been sent. However, the president of Corinthians stepped in.
Along with the coach, he felt that the agreed deal was too low for the talent, and cancelled the deal. Yet, the plug has not been pulled on a move.
Three options for Milan
As ESPN Brasil now reports, the Brazilian club are asking for an improved offer of €22 million – a €5m increase on the previously accepted bid – and the Rossoneri are considering three different actions now, as MilanNews relays.
The first has already been widely discussed, taking the situation to FIFA and appealing, considering they have signed draft documents already, which could even be used as leverage for a new deal. Alternatively, they could walk away from the situation completely, which would be understandable considering how the operation has gone so far.
Finally, they could also present a new offer to Corinthians. In the grand scheme of things, €5m is not a massive raise, but the principle set would not be a good one.
