ESPN Brasil: Milan considering three options as Corinthians raise André price to €22m

After a meeting today, Corinthians have raised the asking price for star midfielder André, and now AC Milan are considering their next steps.

The André saga already seems to have descended into somewhat of a farce. Milan had essentially agreed a deal, and all the documents required to be sent, appear to have been sent. However, the president of Corinthians stepped in.

Along with the coach, he felt that the agreed deal was too low for the talent, and cancelled the deal. Yet, the plug has not been pulled on a move.

Three options for Milan

As ESPN Brasil now reports, the Brazilian club are asking for an improved offer of €22 million – a €5m increase on the previously accepted bid – and the Rossoneri are considering three different actions now, as MilanNews relays.

The first has already been widely discussed, taking the situation to FIFA and appealing, considering they have signed draft documents already, which could even be used as leverage for a new deal. Alternatively, they could walk away from the situation completely, which would be understandable considering how the operation has gone so far.

Finally, they could also present a new offer to Corinthians. In the grand scheme of things, €5m is not a massive raise, but the principle set would not be a good one.

  1. Seriously can we just sign one player without the back and forth? Next thing you know, Sassuolo signs the guy for €8m.

    1. What back and forth? There was an agreed price and they were drafting papers, and then they raised the price. If you agreed a price on a car, got the paperwork ready, and the day you came to pick up the car they’re like “no, sorry, we’re raising the price 25%”, you would want to kick the salesman’s teeth in. Actually, from your comment it seems you’d cuck yourself and pay the money.

      1. So there’s this thing called hyperbole in the English language, and there’s also a thing called meiosis (not the cousin in the biology field) which I was using to stress how signings have been difficult for us lately but which maybe wasn’t easily perceived in my statement or comment. It’s like the signing of that guy from South America which we thought we had gotten over the line only for complications to see him go to Udinese. I know Sempre Milan is kinda toxic lately to the point that no one wants to take the extra couple of seconds to understand the idea behind a comment but everyone is so quick to bash the other yet I’ll tell you that I’m not your enemy. I come here occasionally to give an opinion and that’s all it is. Just an opinion (everyone is entitled to one I believe). My comment isn’t dealing with a president who’s trying to renege on an already agreed deal but with the difficulties we face when it comes to getting signings over the line.

        Thanks for reading 🙂

          1. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Sometimes I wish I could look into your mind to see what goes on in there. I wonder where you got the idea that I hate Milan from but it’s kinda funny though. Sadly you encapsulate everything sempremilan has turned into but like I said to the other guy, “I’m not your enemy.” I only come here occasionally to give an opinion and that’s all it is. Just an opinion (everyone is entitled to one I believe).

            Thanks for reading 🙂

          2. You complain about literally everything and always put Milan last and you wonder this, were you hit in the head as a child?

            Whats wrong with you

          3. In your opinion, when things don’t go well for Milan and people express their concern that’s hatred for Milan? So if Milan is finding it difficult to close this transfer and I express concern that’s hatred for the club? Are you for real sir? How do you even reason? Also what does it mean to put Milan last? I honestly do not know if you understand what a forum is for but then you pontificate like your ideas and opinions are absolute. Most times I read your comments and I want to believe that you’re just trolling cuz a normal human who’s of age would never think the way you do. You’re pretty amazing you know

          4. Yeah always hating on Milan and then getting shocked when actual fans dont like it

Inter fans in disguise like you are disgusting

          5. You give vibes of Histrionic Personality Disorder, and the cognitive dissonance is on a whole ‘nother level. You should get help while you still got two brain cells doing it for you.

Good Lord please help this child 🤦🏾‍♂️

  2. This is a lowlife kinda attitude for a club, I don’t know what is wrong with some club presidents, was he not aware of the who deal before now, why do they have to stress Milan unnecessarily to do deals?
If I can recall correctly same thing happened to Joge who later signed for Juventus and got lost.
I’d advise management to just walk away.

  3. shady. as soon as the president heard the player was willing to waive the 30% that he owned, the president decided he wants it instead. absolute p!ss taker

  4. Milan need to art fast about this guy because Brazil player always performed well in Milan colour, milan should raise the money and sign this guy before madrid enter the rain

  5. I mean it’s like agreeing a deal for a player without Furlani’s consent? Milan were sloppy. Why leak a deal and claim it’s 95% done when the remaining 5% requires the consent of the president? Who does dumb stuff like that?
If you do your homework properly, you would check every detail properly.
The club obviously has internal wranglings, as the coach voiced out only for the DS to counter his opinion. They HAVE to sell.
On milannews.it portal some other Brazilian claims he is not even worth 5m, so what’s all the buzz about?
Do these guys get a cut from these harebrained deals?

  6. What a weird saga, but I can’t pretend I knew much about this guy and doubt he’d have played much anyway. Focus on Alphadjo and Jashari for midfield next season
