The stance on Adli has fluctuated over the past few weeks as it first seemed as though he would be allowed to leave during the month of January to get more consistent playing time at another club through a loan spell, but then multiple sources stated that the management have decided to keep him at Milan for the second half of the season.
According to reports from Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, Adli’s departure was not in the plans of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, but he did not get even a single minute of the 120+ played against Torino in the Coppa Italia.
That continued a trend of Stefano Pioli not using the playmaker, and thuse the club could review its plans and decide to send him to play somewhere else on loan.
