AC Milan have made the decision to allow Zachary Athekame to leave on loan, and a replacement is already being eyed.
Last night, reports began emerging claiming that Athekame is heading for a year with Paulo Fonseca’s Lyon as the clubs agreed a dry loan. It was somewhat surprising news, given that the Swiss full-back was not among the names mentioned as an exit candidate, but things are now moving fast.

Replacement already identified
What it means is that Milan are down another wing-back, which is a department where they are already arguably struggling for options and quality. So, Sky claim that the directors are looking into making a signing.
The report states that Zakaria El Ouahdi is the target, a 24-year-old who is currently playing at Genk where he has become known for his attacking output. The Belgian club value El Ouahdi at between €13-15m, so the costs of the deal are not particularly prohibitive.
For now, the Moroccan full-back joins a list of players being monitored, so other options could emerge in the coming days. Last season, he racked up an impressive eight goals and four assists in 34 league games, while he appeared once for his national team at the World Cup.
Gianluca Di Marzio also confirms the news, adding that El Ouahdi is being considered for the right side – as a direct replacement for Athekame – though he can play on the left if needed too.

As I see, we need the following to complete our team; we need Cambiasso, Scavlini, Dodo and Hojberg.
We do not need a number 10, Leao and Pulisic can both play there, on Cassini Rabiot and Modric can push forward allowing Keao to drift to the left.
We need to have second burst like we did with Ramis and Gila, and get these deals done swiftly

I think he should be given the free role, let him drift right or left or centre and this will help him as on the left he just gets doubled up in by the opposition, it would be ideal if he had a free role.
He can beat a man and pass and cross so he definitely has the skill set
Leao is a limited player that can only operate on the flanks, his first touch, his ball carrying (close control) and cutting inside abilities are all lackluster.
I don’t think he’ll be suitable for this formation, that’s my opinion.

We gonna see 5-6 more foreign players leave in the coming 2 weeks, then possibly a CB and amf coming in. Everything else will be fake news until we are down to 17 foreign players. You dont replace outgoing players 1 for 1 when you first need to get rid of 6-7 just to reach a squad of 25.

I struggle to understand how Amorim is willing to rely on Chucks at RWB. Athekame has more promise then both of them and showed flashes that he can become a starter in that position.
LWB is more of problem because of Estupinan.
