GdS: Milan inform Real Madrid of the maximum they are willing to pay for playmaker

AC Milan have set the maximum amount they are willing to pay in order to sign Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid, according to a report.

According to what was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Milan are looking at potential targets for the playmaker role – such as Empoli’s Tommaso Baldanzi – given the doubts over the future of Brahim Diaz.

The 20-year-old Italian would cost a maximum of €15m, is three years younger than Brahim Diaz and is a pure playmaker with creativity, vision, a low centre of gravity and an eye for goal.

He is essentially the little brother of Brahim Diaz, who Milan have the option to buy for €22m from Real Madrid who have a €27m buy-back, as was agreed in 2021 at the time his loan was renewed for two years.

Milan would like to convince Real Madrid to accept €16m or a maximum of €18m for the Spaniard, and they want assurances that the interest of other clubs will not be used as leverage.

Real are reflecting as they are not sure they can offer him a space in next year’s team, but they are sure they could earn good money from his sale.
