Repubblica: Milan and Juventus to be fined over FFP – harsher punishments for Inter and Roma

AC Milan are likely to escape with the lightest punishment of any Serie A team who will be sanctioned by UEFA over Financial Fair Play breaches, a report claims.

It was reported by Sky (via MilanNews) yesterday that Milan will not entirely escape punishment from UEFA over their Financial Fair Play situation but should not receive a strict sanction given the improvements in their accounts under Elliott Management since they took control of the club.

This morning’s edition of La Repubblica (via MilanNews) confirms that Inter, Roma, Juventus and Milan are the four Italian clubs under the attention of UEFA as a result of their financial results in the last three years.

Milan will get away with a fine of around €2m, while Juventus will be fined around €3m, but it is a different story for Inter and Roma. They could have limitations on the transfer market as punishment for their breaches.
