MN: Milan XI to face Juventus takes shape but two major dilemmas remain

Clues are beginning to arrive from training about the starting line-up that Stefano Pioli will field in Sunday’s crucial game against Juventus at San Siro.

According to MilanNews, there were several training drills and even games at Milanello today, with Pioli shuffling players around in both the midfield and in attack. The defensive department is the one that has the most certainties at the moment with Alessio Romagnoli back partnering Pierre Kalulu, while Alessandro Florenzi and Theo Hernandez will be on the flanks.

The two big dilemmas are who will play next to Sandro Tonali in the double pivot and who will play as central attacking midfielder. The first indications suggest that Tiemoue Bakayoko will be next to Tonali with Rade Krunic playing as the No.10 in place of Brahim Diaz.

However, there was also a game done with the Bosnian next to Tonali and Brahim Diaz in his place behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing and Rafael Leao on the left.
