Telegraph: Spurs worried about competition from PSG as bid for Milan star is considered

Spurs are considering making an offer to sign Franck Kessie from AC Milan this month in order to beat the competition from Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by the English journalist Mike McGrath for The Telegraph (via MilanNews), Tottenham are big admirers of Kessie and are considering whether or not to present an offer to Milan for the Ivorian during the current transfer window to avoid a possible brawl in the summer.

Kessie’s deal expires in less than six months so the midfielder will be able to leave on a free transfer, and he is attracting interest from PSG who – as we know – are able to put together lucrative financial packages to lure free agents.

The competition to sign him on a free will be very high and this is why the Spurs management is considering whether to make an official bid in the last few days of the transfer market to give Antonio Conte a player he knows well and likes.
