Longo: Milan, Lille and Renato Sanches all in agreement but Mendes’ stance raises questions

AC Milan have moved in advance to try and wrap up a deal for Renato Sanches but it seems Jorge Mendes’ approach is problematic, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan and Lille found a total agreement for Renato Sanches in the January transfer window and it is one that has remained intact in recent weeks.

However, his agent Jorge Mendes has taken time. Even though his client is convinced about the idea of joining the Rossoneri and seemingly has a verbal pact with them, Mendes took time in January and did not want to rush things.

That is why for the time being things remain open and it cannot be considered a ‘done deal’ for the Rossoneri, and it is now also up to the player to make it clear that he has definitively chosen to join Milan at the end of the season.
