After welcoming a striker, the AC Milan management are pushing for a central defender. The latest ideas are in the Premier League.
Milan are second in the table, four point behind Inter with a game in hand, and have the second-best defence in the league as well as the second-best attack. Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t expect expensive gifts from the mercato to boost the Scudetto dream, but Igli Tare is working to give him something.

Options from England
Calciomercato.com report that Milan have been knocked back in their attempts to negotiate with Fenerbahce for Milan Skriniar and Juventus for Federico Gatti, because both are not open to letting the defenders leave.
Tare has gone back to Liverpool for Joe Gomez. Given his technical and athletic qualities, experience and desire for prove himself, the English defender would be a desirable candidate for Allegri to bolster a department that is thin on depth.
Currently, the Reds have never clearly expressed a willingness to let him go, but the hope is that his lack of playing time will see the player himself push for the move. The World Cup being on the horizon in the summer could be an ally in this sense, with Gomez’s spot in the squad not certain.

Axel Disasi at Chelsea is another option. He’s been offered to several English clubs, but Roma are very interested, and would like to sign him on a permanent basis, not just on loan until the end of the season.
In recent days, agents and intermediaries have offered Disasi to Tare for what would be a very reasonable deal. Currently, the former Monaco player is out of the squad, and I hope to leave soon. Discussions are underway and Allegri has expressed a positive opinion, but he isn’t the first choice.
There is a new name on the list: Murillo of Nottingham Forest. The Brazilian defender is someone Tare likes a lot, although no further negotiations have happened yet. Murillo would only leave for the right opportunity, both on the field and financially.

David Alaba is available soon 😉
In case his career isn’t already over… which I am afraid it is.
(Not talking about the absolute insane salary he got at RM).
Murillo story is just BS. A 23yo CB, playing in PL and is valued 53Mil is somehow our target? Yea sure. We are here seeking a low level, loan option and now we want a 53mil CB? That just isnt happening.
He is going to City, Liverpool or something like that. We cant even compete for him and i dont think we shoud even try for him, considering forest is one spot away from relegation
Completely agree, not a chance we’re in the running for Murillo. I heard we were in for Morato, which seems more plausible but he’s not played well at all.
