AC Milan had a meeting with a figure who is close to Chelsea striker Armando Broja ahead of the possible opening of a negotiation, a report claims.
Milan will need to sign a new centre-forward potentially as early as next summer and an investment will be needed. We must not rule out Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s retirement at the end of the season, also considering he is 41, while Olivier Giroud is 36 and his deal expires next June, plus Divock Origi has been plagued by injury problems.

This season he has struggled for playing time after returning from a loan at Southampton having amassed just 173 minutes on the pitch spread over 10 appearances between the Premier League and the Champions League.

Someone like Marcus Thuram would be great, his contract expires in June 23 and his salary should be affordable
Obviously none of you watched the matches last season when Southampton started giving him minutes, he was a beast. Chelsea hasn’t given him any minutes. He has been good with Albania national team too. I think he is going to be a star — Chelsea is too loaded with too many players that ownership/management paid a ton of money for, so then very good players don’t even see the field much (Broja, Ziyech, Pulisic… Tammy Abraham didn’t play much and now he’s a stud at Roma).
You guys don’t know more than Maldini and Ricky — if those guys are going after a guy, it’s because they see some good potential (just like they did in Theo, Leao, Bennacer, Maignan, Kalulu, Tonali). I clearly don’t know as much as they do; but I can tell you, Broja has looked excellent when given a chance to play.
Looking good and scoring goals is two different things. I’d rather have e.g. Pippo Inzaghi who scores goals all time time than a player who looks good and tries really hard. It’s the end product that counts when we’re talking about main strikers.
