Now that Renato Sanches has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain, there are some doubts about who AC Milan’s midfield recruit will be.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there are three names that have been circulating since Sanches joined PSG: Jean Onana of Bordeaux, Florian Grillitsch who is a free agent after leaving Hoffenheim and Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi.
The latter is deemed to be too complicated to be a real target, while there does not seem to be any substance to the Onana and Grillitsch links as per the paper, so it is likely that the concrete objective either hasn’t been identified yet or his name is not in circulation.
One thing is certain: Tiemouè Bakayoko will only leave if another reinforcement in the midfield arrives first. The Frenchman is in his second year on loan from Chelsea but has found little playing time, yet Milan still feel they must replace him numerically.
