CorRomagna: Milan present offer worth €1m for talented teenage midfielder

We have seen under the current management that Milan do not just focus on ready made players but also those who could become stars of the future, and a bid could be launched for Tommaso Berti of Cesena.

After snatching Marko Lazetic from Red Star Belgrade, the Rosssoneri are seriously thinking of trying to land the 17-year-old midfielder, who is impressing a lot on Serie C given his age. According to Corriere di Romagna (via MilanLive), Milan are making a concrete attempt for a midfielder they have already scouted plenty in the past.

At the end of last August Milan tried to close a deal for Berti but Cesena chose to keep him, but now the Rossoneri have put on the table the same offer presented 6 months ago: €500k up front and another €500k in bonuses that would be triggered at the moment of his debut in the first team.

According to the report, the management of Cesena are tempted and their sporting director Zebi will bring this proposal to the ears of the American owners. Venezia are also keen on the teenager, who has 17 official appearances this season.
