As MilanNews report, training got back underway today after the three days of rest granted by head coach Massimiliano Allegri. Given the amount of players called up for international duty the group size is quite a bit smaller, but there was a familiar face to welcome back.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to training following jaw surgery a few weeks ago. The Englishman was injured in a collision with Parma goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi on February 22nd during the 1-0 defeat at San Siro, forcing him to be stretchered off with a neck brace on.
The Englishman worked with the rest of the group for the first time today, which means that he is moving towards a call-up for the match in Naples against Napoli on Easter Monday at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
In the meantime, Rafael Leao and Matteo Gabbia continued with treatments and therapies to recover from their respective injuries. Leao is out with adductor discomfort that forced him to miss the Torino game, while Gabbia is still battling with a knee issue that sidelined him some weeks ago.
