Milan Primavera can secure promotion this weekend with win over SPAL – the stats

Milan’s Primavera has dominated the their league this season, so much so that they can secure promotion this weekend against second-placed SPAL.

It was a failure last season when such a historically successful youth sector like Milan’s were relegated from the Primavera 1st division. But Federico Giunti and his young guns have responded in the best way possible this season in the Primavera 2 league despite losing some of their biggest key players this summer, such as Raoul Bellanova and Franck Tsadjout.

They have so far gone undefeated this season, winning 15 games and drawing 2. This means that they can secure promotion on Saturday when they take on second-placed SPAL’s primavera home at Vismara, with five games remaining of the season.

In addition to going undefeated, Milan’s primavera has scored 53 goals and only conceded 13, giving them a 40+ goal difference – 27 goals better than just SPAL’s primavera in second place who have +13 in goal difference.
