Luca Bianchin of La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Milan have raised their offer for De Ketelaere and the Belgian is now ‘one step away’ from finally completing his long-awaited move to the Rossoneri, and this optimism was backed up by other sources over the following couple of hours.
According to what was reported by the Belgian newspaper HLN (via MilanNews), there is still no agreement between Milan and Club Brugge over De Ketelaere, despite the Rossoneri having increased the offer to €31m fixed plus €4m in bonuses.
Club Brugge have not dropped from their request of €35m which could be met with slightly higher fixed part and subsequent bonuses. A definitive turning point in the negotiations is not expected for today.
