AC Milan’s interest in signing Marc Pubill from Almeria has been confirmed, but they will rival Roma for his signature and Premier League clubs.
The mercato does not stop for Milan, not even on the day that Massimiliano Allegri presented himself to the press together with Igli Tare. The sporting director is working to bring two full-backs into the squad, one on each side, following the various exits.

A profile that is popular, for the right flank, is Pubill from Almeria. With Kyle Walker having left and with Emerson Royal not deemed a part of the plans, there is the need to sign a starter in that position.
In recent days there has been talk of interest in Pubill, who plays for the Spanish U21 national team. Fabrizio Romano has given a brief update on things, stating (via Radio Rossonera): “Roma and Milan like him, but there are also Premier League clubs.”
In the last few days, rumours have also spread of Barcelona’s interest in the young full-back. The threat of a move to England is strong though, as happened with Maxim De Cuyper, another profile that the Rossoneri liked until Brighton swooped and got it over the line.
Dodo or Pubill… can’t have both. We obviously aren’t going to sign two right backs.
There aren’t many options, at least not in the price range i guess Milan management wants to go for. Amazing how come last season they paid 15 M for Emerson, and for 5 M more they could have gone for Geertruida, that is true didn’t have a great first season at Bundesliga, but in general Leipzig had a bad season. Now those 15 M paid for Emerson is basically money that was wasted, and incredible to think of that because, 90% or more of opinions by fans in social media and websites said that Emerson was a bad choice, so you ask yourself how come milan “professionals” thought Emerson was good option? Good that this season the club has a Technical Director, let’s hope Tare does good and has the back up of the management. Pubil seems interesting option, and yes supposedly Barca were considering him but last summer, this time around Barca are being linked with Dumfries or a return of Cancelo. Dodo has 3 seasons of experience in Serie A, and there are news of him wanting to leave, but don’t think would be easy to get him out of Fiorentina because for them he is their only RB at the moment, after they sent on loan and now sold Kayode to Brentford. Other options could be Vanderson from Monaco, or Wesley from Flamengo. I don’t think ManU would let him leave for a small fee, but Dalot would be an interesting option after he already spent one season at Milan before.
In my opinion, the decision to purchase Emerson Royal should be investigated and someone should be jailed for it.
I’m seriously dissapointed that none of the last season’s management has been fired yet.
Honestly, with the Emerson transfer, I’m completely short of words how a club like Milan with all the scouting department settle for such a player, even when a fan who never played the game could easily tell he isn’t capable of doing nothing.
But, Dalot made it clear he didn’t want to move to us on a permanent basis.
With rat furlani hanging around and with his stupid, senseless and silly way of conducting milan’s mercato i bet these 2 guys will be playing in the premier before the rat will even realize it has taken place!!!!!
