Niclas Fullkrug is becoming an increasingly likely January arrival for AC Milan, and a first offer was sent by the club today.

This morning, MilanNews reported that Milan wanted to finalise the signing of Fullkrug before the end of 2025. Of course, he cannot arrive before the mercato arrives, but he can arrive ready to play on January 3.

Now, it seems that the first step towards that has been made.

First offer for Fullkrug

As Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reports, via MilanNews, the Rossoneri have sent their first offer to West Ham United. It is exactly what was expected, with a loan until the summer with a buy option also included.

However, no answer has been received just yet. The Hammers are considering the offer, but there is a feeling that they will request the buy option to be changed to a mandatory fee. There are no figures just yet, but with his form and age, it should not be an excessive request.

Allegri was asked specifically about the striker this morning, and he was, as expected, secretive about the move, or any moves for that matter.

“AC Milan’s transfer window is focused on recovering the available players, then we’ll see what we can do on the transfer market together with the club.”

  1. Paid loan with a small buy option fee or move on. This deal definitely shouldn’t happen if it is with an obligation to buy otherwise we might have to ship him out again in the summer again but it is nevertheless good to have the option to buy if he exceeds expectations.

      1. Well I wouldn’t go as far as that as I already had my eyes on Bierhoff when he played for Ascoli and the guy was somewhat more prolific than Fullkrug. I am willing though to give Fullkrug a chance if it means that we in the summer gets Vlahovic or Lewandowski then I wont complain the slightest about this deal if it’s a loan with an option. In the end he might do really great but he is not really my choice though as things stands.

  2. We need a striker who is willing to come off the bench when Pulisic and Leao are healthy, and good enough to start when they are injured. It’s a shame we don’t have Abraham or Jovic.

If we get Lewandowski at the end of January, who would we bench out of the 3 of him, Pulisic, Leao?

      1. This. People have really hard time understanding this simple little fact. It’s not like clubs are eager to get rid of well-performing strikers for peanuts in the January window.

  3. He is right to focus on the available players, Leao and pulisic constant injuries are the first thing he should try sorting out
