Guardian: Spurs ready January bid to beat Barcelona and Man Utd to Milan star

Speculation is growing that AC Milan could receive a bid from Spurs for Franck Kessie as they are close to letting a midfielder leave, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by The Guardian (via MilanNews), Spurs are in talks with PSG over a deal which would see Tanguy Ndombele move to the French capital, and if that were to get over the line then they could move for Franck Kessie before the month is over.

Spurs head coach Antonio Conte and director Fabio Paratici have planned a concrete offer to Milan to have the Ivorian midfielder immediately rather than waiting to sign him on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Kessie is one of the main targets for the London club, who would like to close as soon as possible to avoid salary auctions in the summer when PSG, Manchester United and Barcelona could join the race.
