Luca Marchetti spoke on Sky (via MilanNews) about the situation linked to the renewal of Ibrahimovic, remarking that ‘he will decide’ more so that the Rossoneri management dictating to him whether they need him or not.
If the 40-year-old wants to continue he will play and Milan will ‘not create a problem’. Marchetti added that Milan knew when offering a contract to a player in his 40s that the merits of having him are not just the technical value but also his impact the locker dressing that goes beyond the question of age.
Ibra’s contract already provides for a lower fixed salary with bonuses that went up based on appearances, so the renewal will not even be an economic problem.
