Tuttosport: Milenkovic track fades as Milan do not have €15m to spend in January

AC Milan have not given up their hopes of signing Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina but it is a very complicated pursuit at present, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the defender has long been in the sights of Milan’s management and the scouting team and now that they are looking for a new centre-back for the January window, the Serbia international’s name is back in fashion.

However, the paper claims that it remains a very complicated deal to close because La Viola are asking for at least €15m to let the 24-year-old leave, a figure that the Rossoneri do not have available for the upcoming winter transfer window.

Whether this means that other targets such as Bremer of Torino and Sven Botman of Lille are also ruled out due to their price tag is not specified, though there could be some creativity regarding formulas such as loan with option to buy or obligation.
