GdS: Serbia international emerges as a €20m-rated alternative to Botman for Milan

AC Milan are not putting all of their eggs in the basket labelled Sven Botman and they have alternative targets in mind, a report has confirmed.

The name of Botman has been circulating for some time, but La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) write how the Rossoneri might struggle to find a meeting point with Lille who are at the moment standing firm on their demands of €30-35m, despite the Dutchman having already given his approval to the move.

That is why Nikola Milenkovic of Fiorentina is still being considered as a potential alternative, a player that Stefano Pioli has worked with before during his time at La Viola and therefore he knows well.

The Serb’s contract will expire in 2023 and – just like Dusan Vlahovic – Milenkovic may decide not to renew in order to force a move to a club more ready to compete for trophies. Milan are closely following the situation and at the moment Fiorentina want €20m to sell.
