In fact, Paqueta is one of the few players that hasn’t found new life since Stefano Pioli’s arrival. The switch to the 4-2-3-1 formation certainly didn’t make things better, while the midfielder failed to impress when given the chance.
However, as Milanlive.it highlights, it’s a situation that could change as it will be a tight schedule once Serie A is back underway. Pioli will have to rely on many players and Paqueta will certainly get his chance, which he will have to make use of.
At the end of the season, Milan will make their evaluations and a transfer seems very likely as things stand. Fiorentina and Benfica are interested but Paqueta now has the chance to change his destiny.
