MN: Atalanta midfielder four appearances away from netting Milan €3m

AC Milan are watching the situation of Atalanta’s Matteo Pessina with attention given they are set to pocket from an upcoming milestone, a report claims.

MilanNews recalls how the Primavera product Pessina went to Atalanta as part of the operation that brought wing-back Andrea Conti to the Rossoneri in the summer of 2017, but as part of that move up to Bergam there was a particular clause put in his contract.

The first part of the clause dictates that until he reaches 100 appearances with La Dea, the Rossoneri club are entitled to 50% of the proceeds from a future resale, but there is nothing just yet to suggest that he will depart in the current summer transfer window.

The second clause states that upon reaching the milestone of 100 official matches (he is currently at 96), Atalanta will then have to pay €3m to Milan and consequently the percentage on the future resale will be scrapped.
