MN: Hauge awaiting meeting with the management over future – Pioli has made clear choice

The future of winger Jens Petter Hauge hangs in the balance as AC Milan have not shut the door to an outright sale, a report claims.

It has been a whirlwind 12 months for Hauge as he completed a fairytale move to Milan from Bodo/Glimt after impressing for the latter during a Europa League qualifier, and after initially exploding onto the scene with the Rossoneri he found himself used less and less as the season went on.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Hauge faces a rather uncertain fate at Milan. The Norwegian winger arrived almost a year ago from Bodo/Glimt for €5m and is awaiting a meeting with the management to see what their plans are for his future.

However, the signs are not good as Pioli’s choices were clear: there is no room for him when he already has Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao to alternate and manage. After not even 365 days with the Rossoneri, Hauge could be sold this summer in the face of the right offer, with Milan insistent on making a capital gain.
