MN: Hauge awaiting meeting with the management over future – Pioli has made clear choice

By Oliver Fisher -

The future of winger Jens Petter Hauge hangs in the balance as AC Milan have not shut the door to an outright sale, a report claims.

It has been a whirlwind 12 months for Hauge as he completed a fairytale move to Milan from Bodo/Glimt after impressing for the latter during a Europa League qualifier, and after initially exploding onto the scene with the Rossoneri he found himself used less and less as the season went on.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Hauge faces a rather uncertain fate at Milan. The Norwegian winger arrived almost a year ago from Bodo/Glimt for €5m and is awaiting a meeting with the management to see what their plans are for his future.

However, the signs are not good as Pioli’s choices were clear: there is no room for him when he already has Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao to alternate and manage. After not even 365 days with the Rossoneri, Hauge could be sold this summer in the face of the right offer, with Milan insistent on making a capital gain.

  1. This is yet another big big big mistake by milan and pioli. God save us please from these mistakes! We are gonna regret this for sure.

  2. Rebic is not a winger. He should be used behind Zlatan as a center mid attacker. Just like he played against Juve. He is the only in the squad who is able to make stunners from the distance just give him some space to make his devastante turnarounds. Why on Earth to lock him in the corner?

  3. Continuous dissapointment ever since Eliot decided to continue with Pioli. Poor decision and we, the fans, are going to suffer the most. Mediocrity is our new logo. With rangnik we could have had a weaker first year but we would have built healty for the future. The americans are smart and when they realise they walk in swamp they are going to ditch Pioli. But it will be to late for players like Hauge who want to come to milan to prove themselves and are treated like dirt. You are surprised Adli refused us? I am not.

  4. Yeah, only blind people who can’t see Hauge’s potential..
At least he deserved more chance than Leao, or Krunic obviously…
    on LW position I mean,,

    1. He has the skills to do well even in the central position. I am sure that he would do much better job than calhanoglu.. but the noobs can’t see this.

  5. If only the management can listen to the fans and do the needful. Hauge needs to stay @least for a whole season. Give him chance, try him in the central attacking position. He’s got speed, skills and eye for goal. Am very sure he will be the Surprise of the season. Next messi. Pioli is blind to see all that. Requesting for finished goods instead of raw materials.

  6. Hauge departure will be disastrous to milan. This little lad has got potentials and he’s calm with the ball. I pray we don’t regret this bullshit mistake. Keep Hauge and sell Leak pls

  7. Selling him has a mistake written all over it. Loan him out,let him find some playing time and game rhythm. No need to make a rash decision.

  8. I get the sense that the Hague sell rumors are all hype. If I were in management I’d shop Leao as he would surely generate more capital (value €40 mil). If Milan are to sell any players though buy back clauses must be included. No more selling promising youngsters for small gains only to watch them turn in to €50 million players.

  9. Management should pls keep Huege he has whatcMilan want just sont understand pioli or whats hia name he just dontnlike thay boy,and we need him in that team and alwaysnon the field to show him self
