MN: The latest on Calabria and Thiaw from Milanello ahead of Liverpool game

Today’s training session at Milanello on the eve of the game against Liverpool has provided further clues regarding the fitness of two defenders who were doubts.

MilanNews write how tomorrow evening at 21:00 CEST, Paulo Fonseca’s side will face Liverpool at San Siro. The final training session is currently underway at Milanello and some news has arrived regarding the captain Davide Calabria and Malick Thiaw, who both missed the Venezia game.

Calabria returned to working with the rest of the squad yesterday and he continued that today, which means he has therefore fully recovered and will be among those called up for the match against the Reds.

Thiaw is still out, having not yet completely recovered from the sprained ankle that has kept him out since the Lazio game before the break, something that was initially meant to cause him just a one-game absence.

In addition to the German, Marco Sportiello, Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi will also be missing against the English side as all three have had surgery on hand, calf and knee problems respectively.

Luka Jovic will not be there either, as he was not included in the UEFA squad list. Among the players available to Fonseca are Kevin Zeroli, Davide Bartesaghi and Mattia Liberali from Milan Futuro.
