According to a report from MilanNews, De Ketelaere is the player that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have designated as the number one target for the attack and the ‘absolute favourite’ option ahead of the summer window, more so than Nicolo Zaniolo.

Contrary to the rumours launched by some sources earlier today either one arrives or the other will: for them both to arrive together is impossible for economic reasons.

Club Brugge started with an asking price of €40m for the 21-year-old playmaker which seems to have dropped to around €35, including bonuses. Milan would like to allocate a total of €30m to the operation.

The player has already said yes to the Rossoneri and is not tempted at the moment by the interest from Premier League side Leicester City.
