MilanNews writes that Bakayoko’s name is still one that is talked about by the Milan management and his contract situation at Chelsea – with his current deal set to expire in 2022 – makes the deal attractive. The Frenchman has only one year left on his deal and has never been part of the plans of the London club.

In recent seasons he has gone away on loan, twice in Italy to Milan and Napoli and once at Monaco, and he could do it again. The confirmation is that Bakayoko is still admired by Milan and the player would like to return, so over the course of the summer. the idea could gain steam.

He could be Kessie’s replacement in a season in which the Rossoneri will return to playing in the Champions League, especially with the Ivorian and his midfield partner Bennacer set to leave in January for the AFCON.
