GdS: Milan aiming for another signing from Real Madrid in addition to €20m Brahim Diaz deal

By Oliver Fisher -

The market axis between AC Milan and Real Madrid is certainly a hot one as the Rossoneri are keen on two of their midfielders, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Brahim Diaz who is very close to returning to Milan on loan with an option to buy set at €20m and a possible buy-back in favour of Los Blancos, but he isn’t the only player who is attracting the interest of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

Milan are also weighing up a move for Dani Ceballos, a creative midfielder who could take the place of Hakan Calhanoglu. Back in the summer of 2019 Boban and Maldini tried to sign the Spaniard on loan with option to buy, but never found an agreement and so he went on loan at Arsenal where he played the last two seasons.

The last two years for Ceballos with the Gunners have not been entirely exciting despite having played with a certain continuity, so for that reason his price is certainly lower than it was two years ago.

  1. the only deal i’d say no to is this one, ceballos does ceballos things, passive passing, not game reading knowledge and can’t make plays, would frustrate the whole team and wouldn’t help in plays
