MN: Milan poised to earn money from Monza signing

AC Milan are set to make some money from the deal that will take Matteo Pessina to Monza on a permanent basis in the summer, a report claims.

As has been pointed out by Milan News, the player who is currently on loan at Monza from Atalanta is set to sign for the Brianzoli permanently in the summer.

There is an obligation for Monza to make the deal permanent in the summer for a fee of €15 million. This benefits Milan as the Rossoneri made sure that they will receive 50% of any future sale when they let Pessina join Atalanta as part of the Andrea Conti deal in 2017.

It will be a very welcome boost for the Rossoneri to receive €7.5 million, enough to fund a year of Rafael Leao’s potential new contract should the Portuguese forward renew his deal in the near future.

Pessina has been captain for Monza, his local team, ever since he joined.
