MN: Milan have no doubts about investment in midfielder – €15m deal to be confirmed

AC Milan have zero doubts regarding the future of Sandro Tonali and want to build around him for the future, according to a report.

Milan managed to snatch Tonali from under the noses of city rivals Inter during the last summer transfer window, sealing a statement signing as one of the most highly rated midfielders in Italy arrived on a loan with option to buy deal. His adaptation to a bigger club from Brescia has not gone seamlessly, but there general trend of his performances is upward.

According to MilanNews, it is a deal that was possible only thanks to the will of the player who had pushed hard to wear the Rossoneri shirt as a Milan fan. Tonali found himself facing a difficult season due to being late reporting for preseason and of course the natural transition from a struggling side to a top club.

The jump to a team in the fight for the Scudetto and a Champions League spot was not easy, but the club had planned a year of learning at certain levels, which is why Milan are satisfied with the work of the player and in the summer will exercise their option to buy.

Tonali arrived with the formula of a paid loan (€10m), with an option to buy set at €15m, plus the inclusion of €10m in bonuses linked to personal and team targets.
