The No.10 started the season really well and back then, it really looked like Milan had made the right decision by bringing him back. The situation has since changed and Diaz hasn’t found the back of the net since September of last year.
According to MilanNews’ Antonio Vitello, despite the fact that he’s at the club on a two-year loan, Milan will hold a meeting with Real Madrid at the end of the season. Diaz’ future will be discussed and it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.

Milan currently have an option to buy Diaz at the end of the loan (in 2023) and the Bernabeu side also have a buy-back clause. Of course, the season finale could have a huge impact on the Rossoneri’s approach to the meeting.
