MN: Pioli welcomes two key defenders back into squad for Atalanta clash

AC Milan have named their squad list for the game against Atalanta at San Siro tonight and there is good news regarding two defenders.

As MilanNews reports, the team are currently at a hotel in the centre of the city ahead of this evening’s match against Atalanta at San Siro, and the squad has been named.

The good news for Stefano Pioli is that Davide Calabria returns, as well as central defender Pierre Kalulu. The former was injured two weeks ago against Napoli, but the problem was not a serious one.

Meanwhile the French defender – who underwent surgery at the beginning of November after suffering a lesion to the left rectus femoris tendon – returns available after 119 days out.

Also present in the squad list is the young Primavera goalkeeper Noah Raveyre. Still absent, however, is Fikayo Tomori who has returned to training regularly with the group and should return to the squad for Friday’s away match at Lazio.

Besides him, the injured Tommaso Pobega and the suspended Luka Jovic are also not available for the match tonight, which has a bit of added meaning given that La Dea are in great form and are hoping to further close the gap to the Rossoneri.
