MN: Quality and transfer cost – three reasons why Milan should sign Dybala

Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus at the end of this month and he’s currently looking for his next destination. Inter have been in pole position for a long time but Milan could enter the race, as a report highlights.

The 28-year-old has told Juventus that he will leave at the end of his contract, despite efforts from the Bianconeri to sign a renewal. As highlighted by MilanNews, there are three reasons why Milan should try to sign him.

The first and second reasons concern the quality of Dybala. He’s a world-class player and his arrival would certainly calm the fans a bit, as well as give Milan a proper attacking threat. The role behind the striker in Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 would be perfect for him.

Furthermore, he would arrive on a free transfer and thus cost zero in terms of the transfer fee, even though his salary won’t be low. Milan’s wage bill is set to rise to €100m (from the current €80m) and thus there is some margin for a big signing in that sense.

For now, though, Inter remain in pole position for the player but the upcoming weeks should be monitored.
