MN: The nine absentees for Milan-Trento and the reason for each

There are a number of notable absentees for AC Milan’s friendly against Trento this evening, with a variety of different reasons cited.

Given that Milan were in action last night against Monza at the U-Power Stadium in the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy, Stefano Pioli has opted to field a starting line-up for this evening’s game at Milanello that is heavily rotated.

As MilanNews report, Milan’s absentees for the friendly against Trento – in addition to those who played a lot of minutes yesterday against Monza – include Alexis Saelemaekers (fever), Junior Messias (injury) and Davide Calabria (injury).

Charles De Ketelaere has been left out because negotiations are ongoing over his potential move to Atalanta on loan, while Marko Lazetic, Fode Ballo-Toure, Divock Origi and Mattia Caldara are totally out of the plans.

Finally, Noah Okafor will also not take part on the game due to a management of his work load following his arrival.
