Reports have been swirling over the past couple of days suggesting that Milan are looking to offload De Ketelaere after one disappointing season with a number of different clubs around Europe interested.
However, it is Atalanta who have been the most concretely linked and now they appear to be closing in on the capture of the Belgian as they look to reinvent their attacking department after the sale of Rasmus Hojlund.
Matteo Moretto of Relevo has provided an update on the deal between Milan and Atalanta for De Ketelaere but adding that the Rossoneri would net 10% of the proceeds from any possible future sale.
The definitive green light from the player is still missing, and it seems the former Club Brugge man is taking his time before making a final call.
