Who determines market value? Transfermarkt are making complete guesses, it’s not a science. The value is what clubs are or aren’t willing to buy out their contract for. And the value can be different to every club. At the moment, his value to Club Brugge is higher than his value to Milan; until they find a value they both agree upon or another club agrees with their value, he stays a Brugge player.
