Christopher Nkunku has found some form in recent weeks, and yet AC Milan still do not consider him unsellable.
After navigating the first three months with considerable difficulty adjusting to Serie A and some physical issues, Nkunku has come alive with four goals in the last 25 days: two against Hellas Verona, one against Fiorentina, and one against Como from a penalty.

These are positive signs from a striker who – until two years ago – was the top scorer in the Bundesliga and on the radar of elite clubs like Bayern Munich. The feeling from his latest match against Roma is that of a player not yet at 100% of his potential, both mentally and technically.
Still available
After seeing negotiations with Fenerbahce fall through, Nkunku reiterated publicly on DAZN his desire to stay with Milan. According to Calciomercato.com, Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare are satisfied with his form, but not enough permanently remove him from the market.
Milan are remaining vigilant in the market and ready to listen to any offers. The Frenchman is important to Milan, but not essential, especially with Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic and potentially now Niclas Füllkrug ahead of him.

To clarify, the chances of Nkunku remaining at Milan for the rest of the season are higher today than those of him leaving. Yet, the mercato is unpredictable and can also produce some dramatic twists in the final days before the final whistle.
Fenerbahce appear to have given up, and it remains to be seen whether they’ll return in the coming hours. The Premier League has some clubs interested, and if they come forward with €35m or more, Milan will listen.

Like I said the attack department was so spontaneously put together. They went out on the street full of strikers and just brought in the first five players they came across. Two CF’s, two LW’s, and one RW to play with two at the top. So weird.
Nkunku isn’t even LW, he’s CAM/SS similar to Griezmann but with less adaptability
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Nkunku operation smells of money laundering.
You might be right but what’s the upside (for Milan)
Did we owe someone something? Or is there some other benefit to facilitating a dodgy deal ?
The order of choices will be Leao (always first), Fullkrug or Nkunko, then Pulisic. Pulisic will be the dreaded super-sub used for running around playing defense.
Jim, why would you take the one of the 3 most prolific goal contributors of the past 3 seasons and make them a super-sub?
“one of the 3 most prolific goal contributors of the past 3 seasons”
In the whole league. Yeah, I think Inter should bench Lautaro for the same reason that Allegri benches Pulisic. What ever the reason is.
And what is the reason? How do you justify Pulisic being 4th choice? What metric are you using? His goal contributions are both numerous AND relevant. His work rate is very high. In most games he covers more ground than almost anyone else on the pitch (from a position where that is not expected).
EXACTLY MY POINT!!! 😀 😀 😀
Benching Pulisic makes zero sense hence the suggestion of benching Lautaro too.
NKUNKU is is playing in one of the more difficult roles to adjust in serie A. And its not like allegri plays offensively as a priority….
Every single offensive player struggle under Allegri. When the tactics is park the bus against Roma away and park the bus against Cremonese at San Siro then the attackers are the one’s who suffer. If one of them score then that’s it now park 2 Buses and hope for the best. We are not gonna see Milan a team with 4-5 goals even if the opposition is Milan Futoro. 1-0 and Allegri is happy with everyone. That’s why Milan concede a lot of penalties and its scary if Milan play in CL against teams like Real, Barca, City or Bayern etc they gonna get at least 2 penalties in every game against Milan. Cassano said it best. If Milan are smart they let Allegri take them to Europe and hopefully CL and Fire him then bring a coach that is trying to play football or at least little. The best thing would be to bring De Zerbi. Then we can start to Judge player like Leao and Nkunku for real.
We have new Origi 😂😂 He will not leave
