AC Milan are preparing for another mercato, and it seems they have some ideas in mind ahead of its opening.
This weekend’s situation is rather telling. Milan are quite happy to start Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao together, and whilst context affects the options available to Massimiliano Allegri, it still says a lot.

Christopher Nkunku’s best has not been seen yet, after a heavy investment in the summer. Then, Santiago Gimenez’s future is up in the air. In fact, he has just a few months to save his place at the club, it seems.
A January departure is possible for the Mexican, which would push the Diavolo towards making a signing of their own. However, this could be the case anyway, with room in the squad.
Pellegrino and who?
This morning, Mateo Pellegrino, the star striker of Parma, was discussed as a viable option by Gazzetta dello Sport. However, he is not the only choice that the mercato could provide.
Calciomercato.com write that there is interest in several profiles. Joaquin Panichelli’s name has been mentioned regularly, whilst Jonathan Burkardt remains a potential target. Closer to home, Artem Dovbyk is still on the list.
There is no shortage of options, and time is on their side.

Gimenez’s time is up and over. Even if he scores a few goals before January, it will only be meaningful for his pride and soul, not for his future with Milan. Be gone.
Probably. He did fairly well at the Eredivisie and put himself on the map with the UCL goals against top sides. But perhaps, he might just be a flash in the pan. A lot of players are one season wonders or just cant cut it at tops clubs. Likeable kid, hardworker but to make it at top clubs, hard work doesnt quite make it. Best case he scores a few and ends up in Spain or a mid table Premier league club.
All of these are B-tier players. Why a team of Milan caliber are even looking at them?
because A tier players are out of our budget. Even A type TALENT is out of our budget. I mean EPL clubs are paying top dollar for relatively unproven 21 yr olds. Heck, look at Endrick, Madrid paid how much?? is he A-tier player? Nobody knows yet, he looks A tier TALENT but not player yet. The market is crazy but i think i get your point. Between 35+ for Santi, 40+ for Nkunku, We could’ve paid the 70+ for gyökeres or Sesko ( Not that they are making it rain with goals LOL) but they are top forwards
Get Mauro Icardi. Love him or hate him none of these strikers listed can do what he does best, score goals.
Never understood the idea of trading Santi for Dovbyk… Trading for each other’s headaches makes zero sense.
Get Franculino instead
Mauro Icardi..far better than all these Milan strikers..go and get this guy..and forget about strikers problem..
