Official: Juventus vs. AC Milan starting XIs – Pioli names a strong line-up

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named a much strong starting line-up for the game against Juventus compared to the team that played Real Madrid earlier on the week.

Pioli has opted to stick with the 4-3-3 system but has made three changes to the rearguard with Mike Maignan in goal, Malick Thiaw partnering Fikayo Tomori at centre-back and Theo Hernandez as left-back with Davide Calabria on the right.

Tijjani Reijnders gets his first start for Milan, occupying the role of the left-sided mezzala with Ruben Loftus-Cheek across from him on the right and Rade Krunic once again adapted to the role of regista.

In attack, the rather satisfying ‘9-10-11’ trident will be used with Christian Pulisic on the right wing, Rafael Leao on the left and Olivier Giroud as the centre-forward, meaning six changes in total from the Real game.
