Official: Milan announce Maignan will undergo arthroscopic surgery – recovery times

AC Milan have been dealt a potentially huge blow as Mike Maignan will undergo an arthroscopy tomorrow. The goalkeeper is experiencing pain in his left wrist and the decision was thus taken.

Maignan has been an important player for the Rossoneri this season as he not only has made several great saves, but his distribution has also been key at times. Therefore, the news isn’t exactly positive.

Through an official note, as cited by MilanNews, Milan announced that Maignan will undergo an arthroscopy. It remains to be seen how long the goalkeeper will be out. This article will be updated.

“The persistence of painful symptomatology on Mike Maignan’s left wrist requires, after a specialist opinion, an arthroscopy that will be performed tomorrow by Professor Loris Pegoli,” it read.

UPDATE: Gazzetta Dello Sport are saying that Maignan will be out for 10-15 days.
