Pellegatti claims that Milan have held talks with agent of Roma forward

AC Milan are planning to invest in a new striker in the upcoming summer mercato, but who they will make a move for is still unknown currently. Carlo Pellegatti has claimed that the Rossoneri have held talks with an agent.

The links between Milan and a striker have come in abundance, which all but confirms that a new number nine will be added to the club’s ranks this summer. However, the chosen one has not been decided as of yet, with their primary target still being pondered over.

Reports throughout February have claimed that the Rossoneri see Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee as their primary targets. But, there has been a long-standing interest in Jonathan David and Youssef En-Nesyri.

However, there is now a chance that the Diavolo make a third attempt at signing Tammy Abraham. The Englishman was linked with a move to Milan in 2021 and then again around a year ago, but the move has never come to fruition.

However, there may be a chance that a deal could be looked into this summer, with Milan seeking a new striker. Given Abraham has a proven record in Serie A, he could be considered on the list, especially given his agent was seen at Casa Milan, as was revealed by Pellegatti on his Youtube channel – his words have been relayed by PianetaMilan.

“We are relaying what is being said. There is a rumour, which says that Abraham’s agent was at the headquarters to speak with the Milan directors,” he said.

“The cost of the transfer fee is 30 million euros. He is coming back from an injury, for which he needs time even after you he has recovered, but the player’s ability is not in question and he already knows Serie A.”
