Pellegatti claims that Milan have held talks with agent of Roma forward

By Ben Dixon -

AC Milan are planning to invest in a new striker in the upcoming summer mercato, but who they will make a move for is still unknown currently. Carlo Pellegatti has claimed that the Rossoneri have held talks with an agent.

The links between Milan and a striker have come in abundance, which all but confirms that a new number nine will be added to the club’s ranks this summer. However, the chosen one has not been decided as of yet, with their primary target still being pondered over.

Reports throughout February have claimed that the Rossoneri see Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee as their primary targets. But, there has been a long-standing interest in Jonathan David and Youssef En-Nesyri.

However, there is now a chance that the Diavolo make a third attempt at signing Tammy Abraham. The Englishman was linked with a move to Milan in 2021 and then again around a year ago, but the move has never come to fruition.

However, there may be a chance that a deal could be looked into this summer, with Milan seeking a new striker. Given Abraham has a proven record in Serie A, he could be considered on the list, especially given his agent was seen at Casa Milan, as was revealed by Pellegatti on his Youtube channel – his words have been relayed by PianetaMilan.

“We are relaying what is being said. There is a rumour, which says that Abraham’s agent was at the headquarters to speak with the Milan directors,” he said.

“The cost of the transfer fee is 30 million euros. He is coming back from an injury, for which he needs time even after you he has recovered, but the player’s ability is not in question and he already knows Serie A.”

  1. We need to see him play after injury before forking out that kind of money. If he can show hes still got it once recovered, then he can be a potential target

      1. Abraham was very good before his injury. I wouldn’t question his talent. As to form, if we wait until “he gets back to his best”, i.e. he stays at Roma for another season and scores 15 goals, his price will be 50 or 60m, not 30m. So while it’s a risk, it might be better just to take the chance than to “wait and see”. Plus, we need a striker this summer, not January 2025 or summer 2025.

  2. Today’s football journalism or reporting.
A certain agent shows up at Casa Milan. Google agents name, find out which players he represents and pick a name based on what you think Milan might be interested in. Finally check his price on Tranafrmarkt and you are all set to release your story.
Nothing but speculation based on connecting dots.
Same with reports connecting Leao or Osimhen with PSG.
Mbappe is leaving, Luis Campos is PSG director, Leao and Osimhen were signed by him at Lille, put it out there that those 2 are the top of PSG list to replace Mbappe.

  3. He wasn’t doing well even before the injury. Been going through a few goal droughts. I remember for a good part of last season before getting injured he was playing with a lot of frustration and pressure for some reason. Despite Milan loving injuries, I see no reason why should go for Abraham

  4. Those phote made me so excited for seeing dybala in it, but then came tammy… Dybala is lot better one even yes he used to injured, but a real world class striker is needed if we want to replace giroud…

    1. A GIroud 2.0? So, 15-20 goals per season with several game-winners and not to forget the Serie A’s top assist man. I like the sound of that! 🙂
