Gigio Donnarumma may be leaving Milan, but he still deserves praise for his performances in the 2020/21 season, playing an important role in the Rossoneri’s success. And now he has been rewarded for his efforts.

With 14 clean sheets and just 38 goals conceded in 37 games, Donnarumma was named the ‘best goalkeeper’ of the 2020/21 season in Serie A. An award that he deserves after what was yet another good campaign for him.

However, it’s a shame that his Milan adventure ended the way it did, leaving for free and giving the Rossoneri nothing in return for the last six years.
