Pobega reveals intention to study Milan’s charity work in thesis after getting degree

AC Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega has revealed his intention to write a thesis on the club’s charitable work through the Fondazione Milan.

After doing his ‘apprenticeships’ at Ternana, Pordenone, Spezia and Torino, Pobega returned to Milanello over the summer and his hard work on the training field means that he is carving out a space within Stefano Pioli’s rotations.

The month of September was a memorable one for the 23-year-old as he scored his first Milan goal in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb at San Siro and he did his last two examinations to earn a degree in Economics and Commerce, a course that he has been doing online in order to get the qualification.

Pobega is passionately pursuing his football career but not only that, because he also graduated with an Economics Degree from the Universita Telematica Pegaso and is continuing his studies by writing a thesis.

“The title is ‘Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR’ and I will deepen the Milan case: after the first two general and introductory chapters, the work of Milan will be analysed, which was among the first clubs to follow such a path, even with the Fondazione Milan and its projects,” he said.
