It has been some time since Tommaso Pobega was last in the starting line-up for AC Milan but that is expected to change tonight, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Pobega should play as an attacking midfielder tonight against Empoli at San Siro taking the spot of Rade Krunic in the starting line-up.
The 23-year-old has not been used much recently, so much so that he hasn’t been a starter for almost three months. The last time he got the nod from the first minute was in the away game against Lecce on 14 January.
Pobega has been used in the more advanced midfield role already this season just as he was with Torino last season, but generally he has been used in the midfield double pivot more so it will be interesting to see if he can provide what is needed to breach an Empoli side that can be difficult to break down.
