MN: Probable Milan XI to face Hellas Verona – Bennacer returns to the line-up

AC Milan must go to play Hellas Verona on Sunday night knowing that a win will put them four points away from a first Scudetto since 2010-11.

MilanNews reports how there are still a couple of days of training before the match, but we can already look at a probable starting line-up and the main news is Ismael Bennacer’s return to the field from the first minute.

After he came off the bench against Fiorentina, the Algerian will return from the first minute alongside Sandro Tonali in the double pivot and Franck Kessie instead will play as the attacking midfielder, while Brahim Diaz will be on the bench.

The other doubt is whether Junior Messias or Alexis Saelemaekers starts in the right, but what is certain is Rafael Leao will be on the left and Olivier Giroud as the centre-forward, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic ready to come off the bench.

Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu will be the centre-back pairing, while Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez will be the full-backs and Mike Maignan will be in goal.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Messias/Saelemaekers, Kessie, Leao; Giroud.
