CM: Rebic reflecting on his future at Milan – why both parties might favour a sale

Although Ante Rebic has made important contributions for AC Milan since his arrival in summer 2019, his future at the club is now reportedly uncertain.

He has had a disrupted season so far due to muscle problems and constant relapses that have affected the Croatian’s performances. He has played only 913 minutes and has scored 3 goals (against Juventus, Liverpool and Salernitana) with 2 assists to add to that.

Calciomercato.com report how head coach Stefano Pioli wants Rebic to become the extra weapon in this season finale given how well he has played in the second half of each of the last two seasons, but Rafael Leao’s explosion has relegated Rebic to the role of second choice.

Rebic loves Milan but he is also starting to reflect what will become of his future, even though he has a contract until 2025 with the Rossoneri. At the end of the season, a meeting is expected between his agent Fali Ramadani and Paolo Maldini to understand what the plans are, and a sale could generate interesting capital gain to be re-invested.
