Relevo: ‘No obstacles’ – Atletico Madrid to meet Milan target after Euro 2024

In the mercato, blocks in the road are to be expected, but according to a report, there will be none from Atletico Madrid as AC Milan look to sign Alvaro Morata.

Unfortunately for Milan, this summer, they are already too familiar with road bumps, and after navigating so many in the pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee, they eventually decided it was time to progress down other routes.

From Bayern Munich’s interest to Kia Joorabchian’s commission, it seemed like a never-ending setback for the Rossoneri’s pursuit, but until recently, there was no reconsideration.

However, now we know that that idea is dead, especially with Manchester United ready to make the move official, and so the Diavolo have looked in other directions or done so with heavier interest, and the player that springs to mind is Alvaro Morata.

Reports in recent days have suggested that a move for the Spanish striker is reaching a pivotal stage, and there is growing confidence about the deal with a medical booked for this week. Today, Milan’s confidence has probably grown further.

As Relevo (via Milan News), a Spanish outlet, reports, Atletico Madrid will have talks with Morata when he returns from the Euros, but they will not block a move for him and will respect his decision. A story that sounds all too familiar to that of Olivier Giroud.
